what a glorious gleaming green and glowing day. the world is green and hot with summer, luscious, blooming deliriously. if it's not just me. but i'm pretty sure it really is everything. hail to the summer! ( everything feels like a festival. )

we got everything done today, and then everything.  it's been an awesome weekend. i have been feeling underwater this last week or so, like we can't possibly get all the projects done in the amount of time that we have to do them in.  the tomatoes, peppers & eggplant that we planted in the greenhouse three weeks ago are barely sprouting; of 50-some ( Read more... )

As many of you have heard, we are having a new well drilled. (for those who haven't heard, it's a long story, and most of it can be found on sunflowerriver). In order to put the well where the County Environmental Dept wants us to put it, we need to relocate the kitchen shed--that's the smaller, slate shed that sits next to our pumphouse.
